You Don’t Need Years Of Experience To Mix Well And Here’s Why

IT DOESN’T GUARANTEE YOU LEARN

Indeed, you can learn the basics and even achieve good results. But it doesn’t mean you will learn the process. For example, you can spend days or even weeks trying to mix your track because you lack knowledge. And sometimes it’s hard to control and filter the information you learn. When you learn by yourself there’s always a risk to miss something. It can be a particular technique, approach, etc. When you are not able to represent your artistic vision through your music it can be very frustrating. If that happens to you don’t worry! There’s a solution and we’re gonna talk about it below. All you need is a proven system and a proper approach to mixing. I worked with a lot of students. Some of them had 10+ years of experience in making music but they were struggling with such basic things as mixing! This short story represents why having “years” of experience doesn’t guarantee you’ll be good at your craft. You need to learn the right way to become a professional.

IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME

It can take years to gain experience. And as we found out that it doesn’t guarantee that you will learn. Let me tell you my story. I started making music in 2016. After 2 years of practice, my skills were pretty good. I could finish tracks. I could generate ideas. But when it came to mixing I felt lost. I tried watching YouTube videos, books, but it didn’t help. Yes, I learned more about plugins, gear, and stuff. But it didn’t help me because I was still lacking the knowledge and proper experience. I’m not talking about YEARS of experience. I’m talking about the PROPER EXPERIENCE. So you see, even though I spend a lot of time trying to learn I was not able to mix my music well.

THERE’S A BETTER AND FASTER WAY

So what is the new fast way of learning how to mix? I have one more story for you that explains how I learned mixing in just 6 weeks. As I mentioned above I was struggling with mixing even though I had a lot of experience with music. I found out that the online school I bought courses from was starting a mixing masterclass. I signed up for it at once! In 6 weeks I learned a proven system. I learned how and when to use particular plugins, processing chains, and everything you need to know to achieve a professional mix. I also released my first album straight after completing the course. It was a very nice bonus but it also showed me how fast you could learn and achieve your first results. And after that, I just focused on making music instead of worrying about mixing. Now I don’t have to think about the tools I need to use. I can translate the vision I have in my head into my music and make it sound how I want.
